be a Mentee
ALL oncology nurses have something to write about in their role, but many often have no idea where to begin. The thought of writing might seem scary, daunting, or overwhelming. beyond Oncology is here to help you through our writing mentorship program. We pair experienced writers with novel writers, so you get the encouragement, empowerment, and support you need to successfully write for publication.
Writing for Cancer Nursing Today (CNT) is an excellent way to jump-start your writing career. The short 500–600-word article will focus on why nurses want to learn about the topic, best practices, and implications for practice. Just 3-5 references per article. Deadlines and frequency of submissions are very flexible.
If writing is one of your professional goals, spend some time in self-reflection over these 3 questions:
- Why do I want to learn how to write?
- Do I have the time or energy to devote to writing?
- What support might I need from beyond Oncology?
