Resources for Nurses to Prepare for Oncology Nursing Certifications

Certification Support

beyond Oncology has many options for certification support to meet your needs: review courses, test banks, and 1:1 coaching. We process our own CE and ILNA points to offer you many choices.

Review courses: We offer different formats to meet your needs as an individual, group, ONS Chapter, or association such as:

  • 1 day of 8 hours (6.7 hours of content for 8.0 contact hours)
  • 2 days of 6 hours each day (10 hours of content for 12.0 contact hours)
  • 2-hour sessions over several days/weeks (100 minutes of content for 2.0 contact hours)
  • 1-hour sessions over several days/weeks (50 minutes of content for 1.0 contact hour)

Our creativity in education (live, virtual, and online) remains the hallmark of our decades of experience in helping nurses pass reviews. We use highly interactive, learner engagement strategies such as activities, practice questions, and an e-workbook. Plus, we have test bank practice questions, reinforcement and reflection activities, and resources such as our popular drug handouts and symptom management fast facts.

I like that we can offer both a full-day course but also shorter 1-hour sessions. It gives nurses more in-depth content on a topic and allows them to skip sessions where they have experience. Finally a fantastic review you can customize to your needs!

Coaching and Personal Plans: Our 1:1 coaching and group support helps you with an individualized plan and accountability. Nurses who are re-taking the exam for the second time tell us that this coaching helped them with their anxiety and preparation.

Test Bank Questions: Many learners want to practice, practice, practice. They may have taken other online tests or print questions, but found they want more. We offer 10 free questions so nurses can see the quality of questions that we create and that actually mirror the test format, always with the answer rationale and why the other choices were not the best option.

We guide you to options so you can create a plan that best fits your needs, as knowledge is different, learning styles are different, and experience is different. Yet, we focus on the same goal for everyone—STUDY WHAT YOU DON’T KNOW, NOT WHAT YOU ALREADY KNOW. Our commitment is to improve patient care by helping you be certified.

  • Helps patients: improves patient outcomes, increases patients’ and caregivers’ confidence
  • Helps organizations: enhances their reputation, and meets accreditation requirements
  • Helps you: protects your employability, advances pay, and enhances personal growth, job satisfaction, and confidence
