We support Cancer Nursing Today (CNT) by offering a nurse writing mentorship to highlight best practices and nursing-specific oncology news. Focusing on Our Community – Cancer Support Community (CSC)
We partner with the largest, professionally led, nonprofit network of cancer support, with a special focus in our neighborhood, North Texas (CSCNT). Our assistance includes patient education through a nurse speaker mentorship program, staff development training, and advise on new services like the new Pink Not Gray network group for young breast cancer survivors. We collaborate with organizations to give you the tools to help you bridge the gap toward health equity. Our work includes a health literacy gap assessment tool for organizations, a model for improving care coordination for lung cancer patients, and educational resources for you to improve your patient communication.
